When did your water break?

If your waters weren't artificially ruptured, when did they break?

With my first, during labour about 5ish hours before he was born
With my second, they didn’t and he was born in his waters :)

With my first, my waters broke just before I started pushing, about 30 mins before baby was born.
With my second, I felt my waters break and the first urge to push at the same time, and a moment later I was crowning.

I don’t know if I was in labor or not. I was having mild contractions all day and some other symptoms. I was on a bike ride and they just ruptured when I stopped to use the bathroom at a park!! I was 36 weeks my son is healthy

First, water broke prior to labor; needed to be induced. Second, water broke right when I felt the need to push.

I pushed for 2/2.5 hours and my water broke while I was pushing. It was a weird feeling! I was pretty happy to have the extra cushioning during the contractions though!

It broke after my epidural was placed, I honestly don’t know if I was in active labor yet or not

My first i had been in active labor for over 24 hours, and had been fully dialated since 8am, my waters wouldnt break and allow baby to be born so after 6 hours of being fully dialated my midwife broke them for me and baby was here not long after. My second broke on his own at 41 weeks and he came on out in a much faster but more painful labor. I hope this next one is a faster labor again, even if it is a bit more painful.

I LOVE when my water breaks before labor!  It’s nice because you just know it’s go time. 
And all of mine have been born at 38 weeks except one. 
First - water broke at home
Second - induced at 40 weeks
Third - water broke at home 
Fourth - contractions started after membrane sweep
Fifth - contractions started after membrane sweep

AROM both times here. I won’t allow then to break it this time. That’s what actually led to a life threatening complication for me the last time. No thanks! 😬
