Chemical pregnancy?

I’m not sure if anyone has had a similar situation but I’ve had five positive tests over the span of two days with them getting darker the second day. Started bleeding yesterday afternoon and called my provider. Went in for bloodwork and they just got back to me today saying that my levels are so low that it was either a false positive or a chemical pregnancy. How is that possible if I’ve had 5 positive tests? Maybe if it was just a one off I’d understand but I guess I just don’t understand🤍🥺
