I didn't break up at first when it happened and tried to forgive. I became progressively numb and lost my love for him. by the 4th month since he cheated, I broke up with him because I couldn't trust him and his affection was very fake (instead of love it was him trying to make up for what he did by buying me things and giving me a promise ring like 2 weeks after he cheated). then 2 months later, a friend brings him up and starts asking about him and I remember all the things he did to me. how long does it take to heal fron cheating?
