I ask for bare minimum and he still says I’m annoying him

My husband works 2 hours away and works 12 hour shifts. He works 2-3 days then he’s off. He wakes at 3 am and comes home at 8:30pm. Sometimes he doesn’t call when he’s at work. I ask him to check in when he gets off work & he hardly ever does. I often call him at 8 pm & ask him how close he is to home, if he’s hungry, etc etc.. the last couple nights he’s been coming home at almost 11pm!! On Sunday he told me that he and his co workers are going to gym after work so I expected him home later…today it is currently 10:50 pm and I didnt hear from him all day.

It makes me so angry that he can go so long without checking in on me or speaking to me. I called him and he said that he went to gym and was talking to co workers after work.

I don’t believe he’s cheating, he just sucks at communicating and expects me to be fine….the moment I don’t answer my phone he calls me back
