Scheduled C-section?

Baby #3 is due five days after my firstborn’s birthday which is already pretty close to each other but the doc said based on the reasons I had a c section last time I’d likely need to have a scheduled c section this time, the week before the due date which lands us even closer. My son is STOKED at the idea of sharing a birthday with his little bro or sis but I know he may not always feel that way and the baby may not like it. I’m hoping we can postpone til after my sons bday so I’m not in the hospital on his birthday but has anyone else been in a similar position? I’m likely going to have combined parties for the four of us since my second sons bday and mine are so close too and just do special things day of for celebrating individual birthdays.

I have two kids with birthdays 7 days apart the oldest is my son the second is my daughter then my birthday is 8 days after my son (daughter-3rd, son-10th, me-18th). My children are now old enough to want separate parties so one year I have my daughters party the first Saturday of the month and my son the last Saturday of the month the. The next year I switch them. Then on their actual birthday I let them pick a fun thing to do and what/where they want for dinner.

My nieces are March 14, 17, 21 all the same family. They all want separate parties now, but they liked it the first few years. They’ll be turning 4, 8 and 11 next March

I’m in the same boat, except I just found out I’m pregnant. This baby’s due date will be Aug 15, my son’s is Aug 6.
