What are the normal iron levels?

Currently 34 weeks pregnant and just had a call from my midwife that my iron level was 100 so they are putting me on iron tablets and if it doesn’t improve then I will have to have IV iron supplement before birth.
Just curious what are the normal levels or iron?

I woukd speak to your doctor. None of my iron levels are measured that way so im no help

It depends on what you're measuring; ferritin should be >50 and hemoglobin should be >110 according to my clinic's criteria.

What measurements is that in? Where I am I had borderline low iron at 15 had to go on iron supplement which has brought it back up to the normal range (this was at 28 weeks now 31 weeks).
