Do you get any ultrasounds in the 3rd trimester?

At my OB, no, not unless there’s a problem. Otherwise it’s just the around 8-10 week one and the anatomy scan and that’s it. We’ve gone to private ultrasound places in previous pregnancies to get more ultrasounds but at my doctors office they won’t usually do them.

Theres ama growth scan somewhere around 34-36 wks, but not all places do them. You can always request it.

Normally you get the dating ultrasound and anatomy and that’s it. However for all of my pregnancies I’ve had to have growth scans every 4 weeks due to my babies always measuring small and my hypothyroidism.

My first two kids I had no issues so I didnt have any more after my anatomy scan. My third he had fluid in his kidneys so I had a few more ultrasounds up until 34 or 36 weeks (he was born at 38 weeks and 6 days).

Not typically unless you’re high risk, though some OBs like to get a growth scan around 36 weeks. I was high risk so I had looooootttts of them. Every two weeks from weeks 28-34 and then weekly till she was born at 39 weeks.

With my first, yes because I was high risk and she was measuring small. With my second, no. I had an ultrasound at 14 weeks and 21 weeks (anatomy scan) and that was it at the doctors office. However, I did booked a private ultrasound done at 30 weeks.
