Would you stay with your partner if on occasion he has shouted and sworn at you infront of the children?
So today our son who is 18months old fell off the sofa, and my partner shouted 'what are you f***** doing, why aren't you watching him' at me, in front of our son and my 3 year old stepdaughter. And of course I feel terrible that I wasn't watching close enough but 99% of the time my son gets down off the sofa perfectly fine by himself.. (he's fine also BTW)
But this has got me thinking because about 3 weeks ago a similar thing happened, partner was in a bad mood and thought I was laughing at him with a friend of his, when friend went home he shouted at me and called me a c**t in front of the children.
There's been a few other times where he's shouted in front of our son but he was so young I like to think he's oblivious and fortunately step daughter wasn't there. But now I'm not sure how I feel about it but it could just be hormones as I'm 35weeks pregnant.. But idk I don't think that I want my children raised to think it's OK for a man to speak to a woman like that.
