Should I leave a gift or is it weird

I’ve been casually hooking up with this guy for about 7 months. He’s a sweet man we just don’t have enough in common to actually date but we’re really sexually compatible. Anyways He has two sons (I’ve met them a couple times) who’s mom isn’t in the picture so he raises them full time alone. I’m supposed to go see him on Monday. Would it be weird to put a little gift on his night stand for him when I leave? Or should I not do anything? I don’t want to be weird since we’re just casual but also he’s a good hardworking single dad and idk if anyone ever tells him or acknowledges that.
