Am I overthinking it?

I was put on pelvic rest for about 4 months and just got the approval from the doctor about 3 days ago that I’m officially off of pelvic rest and that my placenta has moved up. But my fiancé hasn’t made any moves towards wanting to have sex even though I’ve most definitely brought it up? 
He works nights so he sleeps during the day, timing can be a little hard but I’m kinda concerned that he hasn’t made any moves when he used to be pretty sexual before this happened?

He may be scared but why haven’t you discussed this with him? Communicating with your partner is the most important aspect of your relationship.

Its entirely possible that he is still nervous about having sex due to the pelvic rest and potential risks. I wouldnt jump to any conclusions. Talk to him about how you feel and listen to how he feels without judgement.

He must be scared of hurting you or the baby. Since I got pregnant we haven't had sex because of the scare of lossing this baby. We loss a baby last year at 21 weeks pregnant so neither of us want to take any risk just because sex. We'll have plenty of sex after the baby arrives. Speak with him and clear your emotion. Nothing is better that a clear communication with your partner.

Talk to him. He may be nervous about it still. I had a SCH this go around and I wasn't put on any restrictions. Sex was still okay. Even still my husband wouldn't touch me until the bleeding stopped and the OB said it's been 2 weeks without bleeding, you'll be fine. Even then he was extremely cautious about even touching me sexually. Now I'm 24 wks tomorrow (5th pregnancy, 3rd baby. Not our first rodeo) and he's back to backing off again. Just because I'm getting bigger and the baby moves so much. It's distracting for both of us. It's not that we don't want to have sex, we definitely do. It's just awkward at this point. Slows down about now and around 34 weeks sex stops completely because he's worried he'll put me into labor.

I was on pelvic rest until like 36 weeks and had to beg my husband. He was super uncomfortable with the idea of having sex while I was so heavily pregnant. We did it once, and that was it. Some men are just weirded out by it. The best thing you can do is talk to him about it.
