Hi everyone so recently me and my new partner went to get tested for STDs/ HSV1/2. He went to an urgent care and I went to planned parenthood. Neither of us had any outbreaks down there before nor been through a situation where we had. He got blood work done and I have as well but planned parenthood advised me that I shouldn’t get blood work done because it’s always inaccurate when it comes to HSV. My partner got his results back and it was positive for HSV2 but he never had an outbreak down there. What could cause him to get a positive result if we never had anything like that happen before? I still HAVENT gotten my results back but he’s freaking out..
