When to give baby food

I don't want the "recommended 6 months' when did you start feeding baby? My first was 5ish months. 2nd was 3ish months. My 3rd is 3 months now and is looking ready and showing signs.      My other 2 kids did great so I will follow my babies signs

What? Absolutely not 3 months. I swear to god what is wrong with some of you. 6 months MINIMUM if all signs of readiness are met. Good god.

6 months and all readiness signs met, including being able to sit up independently. There’s a reason that recommendation exists.

ALL signs of readiness have to be met. ALL. Most babies do not meet all until 6m old. 
A 3 month old is surely not sitting unassisted. 
Studies have shown that starting too early can have a multitude of negative effects to the gut. Higher risk of diabetes, overeating, GI issues…etc. 
Why don’t you want to follow the advice from all major health organizations?? Survivor bias is not an acceptable answer.

6m!! 6m!! 6m!!! PERIOD!! A 3m old can NOT digest solids at all. And it’s a serious choking/aspiration hazard. Have some common sense here. And no a 3m old is not showing ready signs for solids. At 3m a baby is literally interested in everything. 
It’s 6m from all major health organizations. And ALL ready signs met. 
You will damage the digestive system giving solids now. Even at 4m it’s still too entirely early.

We started a few days after his pediatrician gave us the green light at his 6 month check-up. Started with single foods each day like avocado one day, banana the next, full fat greek yogurt the next, baby oatmeal...

Response to your added sentence. 
Your child is NOT ready for solids at all. For the love do NOT put your baby in harms way for serious issues. And what you did with your 2nd child, you are LUCKY nothing happened. Just cause “nothing happened” with the others doesn’t mean nothing will with this baby. Have some common sense and do responsible parenting.

I started at 4 months because he seemed ready. It didn’t work out. Turns out he wasn’t as ready as I thought & hated it. About a month later tho, he was all for it. 3 months sounds too young to be sitting unassisted, so baby wouldn’t be ready at 3 months, but I’d run it past your pediatrician
