Does my cat know?

I have a female cat and she is pretty independent when I first got pregnant she would lay by me on my belly occasionally -but only on her terms. As time went on she kinda let me alone. She'd still lay near me or follow me but wouldn't be touching me. I couldn't sleep due to heartburn and restless legs and just restlessness in general because I'm 37 weeks monday.
