Is anyone an actor or actress or work on television and film/theatre

I'm a mum of 3 and I've had a few careers in my lifetime from admin for lawyers or admin for nurses. But I want to know about acting. I fought with my folks to send me to acting school from primary school and in my years of high-school I was involved in theatre. I performed as Harry Houdini for a solo act at some point in year 12. Now I'm looking for something I can do in university while all my kids are daycare/kinder age next year and I want to know if anyone works in theatre or television, how you organised yourself with kids or no kids and audition tips etc. I'm trying to get into a top Melbourne school because I really want to be something I love and I'm bipolar so you need creativity in work.
