Late BFP??

Question

Okay so I know every pregnancy is different right but I’m just gobbsmacked at how late it took to get a positive test. 
4th pregnancy and my past three have all been positive a day or two after missed period, one was confirmed a day before AF. 
This pregnancy however took 15 days after missed AF to get a positive result. We tested every second day and was showing nothing on all different brands. 
Now I feel it’s just not real even after taking several
To prove it is in fact a BFP, just by how long it took.
Anyone has this same experience, and felt the same.

You didn’t ovulate when you think you did so your dates will be wrong. Late positives would mean late ovulation has occurred

You did not ovulate when you think you did. Just like Louise explained. You will have a positive test by your missed period if not then your ovulation dates are wrong

This cycle I tested after my missed period and it was stark white negative, 6 days later so 7 days late I tested an got this blazing BFP! Everyone must be different but it’s there and it’s real so congratulations ♥️

You are likely not as far along as you’re expecting to be. Unless you’re tracking ovulation and know exactly when ovulation occurred, your period isn’t late. With my first child I ovulated on day 26! I was tracking ovulation via BBT and CM so I knew when it happened and when to test.

My last4pregnancies  I didn’t get a positive til 3weeks after I missed. My cycle had 5 false negatives then finally got a positive

I’ve never experienced this personally of heard of it taking that long but I’m super happy you finally got your positive result. Like you said though, every pregnancy is different. Hoping for a smooth and healthy pregnancy for you! I know it’s exciting to finally know after so long wondering.

I got my blazing positive about 5 days after I missed my entire period (which lasts 5 days) with my first pregnancy. So around 10 days late from 1st day of expected period? 
My second pregnancy I got a positive the day of my expected period but that ended in a miscarriage at 10 weeks.
