Didn't offer a shower/diaper party

We have a friend couple we are super close with. I hosted a baby shower did everything for her for a gorgeous Jungle Book themed shower for her third son. She picked the theme and I paid for everything for her family and friends. I was pregnant at the same time and she offered to throw us either a shower or a diaper party and I ended up having a miscarriage. I became pregnant again and now 23 weeks we our third son and she's never offered this time and my husband was asking me this evening about it. I think it's rude to bring up but I also wouldn't turn a small diaper party down. I don't want or need a shower but a celebration for baby and essential baby diapers would be greatly appreciated. We are all taking a family vacation together next month and my husband thinks I should bring it up then and I feel embarrassed to and like it would ruin our very small getaway with bad energy.
