When will I go into labor??

I’m 35 weeks pregnant currently 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Anyone here with similar situation or recently been there? When did your labor start?

At 35+2 I was almost 2 cm, 50% effaced with baby at -2. 36 weeks tomorrow and will be checked again! Have been having a decent bit of painful cramping, but nothing consistent and it feels like baby is about to fall out of my butt now lol. My OB predicted 2-3 weeks last week, more so because my first came early at 36+1. But who knows! Could be one day, could be another 4+ weeks... I've heard early dilation and effacement doesn't predict anything...

You can be dilated for a long time. With my first, I was 5cm for 2 weeks before I had him. This time I was checked last week at 36 weeks and I was 3cm.

Unfortunately dilation and effacement means nothing 😢 you can go from 0-10 in an hour or stay at 4 centimeters for weeks. I just got checked myself and I am 2 centimeters and 50 percent effaced I am 36 weeks today. But I have been having a lot of contractions some of them pretty painful just nothing steady enough to be full labor.

When will I go into labor??
