Hi mommies-to-be! Has anyone dealt with breast engorgement during pregnancy? It can be uncomfortable, but let's share our experiences and remedies to ease the discomfort. We're here to support each other!

Pregnancy is the only time I get boobs 😂 this is baby #4 for me! My recommendations for after (especially if nursing!) are to have plenty of disposable nursing pads, and some cotton ones if you want. Get the cooling gel pads to help with nipple sensitivity at first. Lansinoh makes these purple gel pads that can be heated or cooled depending on what you need and are a GOD SEND for clogged ducts! Massagers work great to work out clogs too. I exclusively pump so I use the heat pads to help empty, especially in those first few weeks/months. Use coconut oil on your flanges while pumping so your nipples don’t rub too much. Let your nipples air dry after for a minute and put some cream on before putting your shirt back on. You’re probably going to want to size up one size at least, maybe two, in nursing bras. You will likely grow at least a cup size, if not more while nursing and restrictive clothing won’t help your supply! I think that’s all I have for now 😅
