Finally Have Car Seat!

So Aug 1 is my baby eviction day (Aug 4 was my due date). Hubby decided he was buying the car seat and stroller because he was “upset” that I was buying baby stuff through out my entire pregnancy to be prepared in advance. I’d buy the major furniture while it was on sale though out the winter months like the money saving mama I am. So, as you can imagine, every week for the past 3 months I’ve been “reminding” him that this baby is coming and she doesn’t get to come home without a car seat. 3 months ago the set I wanted was on sale but Mr. Man over here said he didn’t want me buying it because he was going to. So of course he paid full price because he waited. But needless to say since we have a birth giving date set nooow he decided we need the car seat. It arrived yesterday so of course I opened it to make sure everything was there and nothing was defective. I can say they definitely upgraded since 6 yrs ago when I had my last baby. It’s so fancy lol. So now I have to get hubby to build the bassinet and swing in the next two weeks and we’ll be ready for baby girls arrival. I swear if the men took charge of baby prepping, us mama’s would have nothing until after baby’s arrived 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂
