Inducing Earlier for Large Babies?

Hi I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby! He is measuring in the 93% percentile but this is pretty expected as my husband and I both have a history of large babies in our family. Our OB is recommended a scheduled induction between 39 and 40 weeks. I’m hesitant to do so as I’ve heard from many moms that they experience difficult labors and challenges breastfeeding when they’ve induced. I also know ultrasound measurements can be inaccurate. I know it’s sometimes necessary but just looking for any advise or questions you would ask to make sure it’s necessary in this case. Any help is appreciated!
