How do you get your baby to stop grinding their teeth? It's driving me crazy!

My 9 month old grinds her teeth constantly. I have loveys, teethers, and stuff for her to bite but the moment something isn't in her mouth, she grinds her teeth horribly! 
The sound is like nails on a chalk board. Is there anything I can do?

It’ll pass. It’s awful! But it helps them with the pain of teething

My son has done this off and on. He’s 15 months now, and I noticed it was the worst when new teeth were relatively new. Especially his four front teeth on the top and bottom. He’s 15 months now and hasn’t done it for a long time, but there was a stretch where I was really concerned! I would just tell him to stop (nicely) and place a single finger on his chin.
