Nipt test

I had my test and it came back low risk for everything, I’m 38 and they are sending me to MFM.. I called and made an appointment and they were saying something about a cvs sampling.. if my test came back low risk would you still need to do that? Or are they just saying cause of my age they recommend? I’ve had two other pregnancies with low risk results and never got the cvs sampling and my babies were perfect.
