Deliver where you work?

Question

Any L&D nurse on here? Do you plan on delivering on your unit? Why or why not? 
Im on the fence about it because we will be moving soon so Ill be the new guy on the unit. Not sure that there’s any advantages as a new person. 🤔

I’m not an L&D nurse, but I’m one of the physician/practice admins so I work closely with the L&D unit and all the docs. I’ll absolutely be delivering with them. I had my first with them and having my coworkers with me during delivery was honestly great. I’ll be doing it again this time around. Also if I deliver at my hospital it’s $100 vs $6000 at an outside facility. So that’s another huge factor lol.
