Negative feedback

Good morning!

My hubby and I have one boy and we've been trying to get pregnant for a year. I've gotten several positive teat results and we're so tickled! 💚 Our 5 year old shared with my parents that he's going to be a big brother. The feedback I got from my mom made me sad. She said "there's nothing to be excited about. You can lose the baby now up to the day it's born. Don't celebrate yet."

"You're going to get fat!"

"Are you sure your pregnant and it's not just a false positive?"

Anyone else out there with this kind of feedback and how do you handle it?
