How do I explain this to my boss?
I work remote and have to clock in and out. I forgot to clock out Monday so I asked my boss for an adjustment where he said when he adjusted it the system started auditing me because I’ve asked for too many adjustments lately. He wanted to know why I was missing punches.
I just went to clock out for lunch and my punch in wasn’t there so either I forgot to do it or it didn’t take. It’s the one time it shouldn’t have happened given his email. How do I email him and explain? I feel absolutely terrible.
