Just a reminder 🚨 stay aware

Please ladies ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings. I’ve heard that 100000 times and I’d like to think I stay pretty alert to ppl around me in stores and just public in general.

Today was an eye opener. You hear all about women getting kidnapped or stalked but I’ve always thought well I don’t think that would happen to me. We’ve been cleaning and doing our normal Sunday things to prepare for the week. I noticed we were out of trash bags so decided to run to the dollar general like 5 mins down the road. My 4 year old wanted to come but thankfully changed his mind last minute and stayed with daddy. I get to the store and walk inside (looking a mess, hair thrown up and in house clothes) I got a few steps inside and this man come running in behind me stops about an inch from my face and says HEY (starting looking around him) I said um hey and turned to walk away he says “your beautiful and I was dropping a friend off and saw you walk in and I just had to come talk to you” then looked at my hand and said “oh… I see you’re married, I know how married men are, I don’t want and trouble” I said “thanks” and walked off. I had that weird gut feeling so I called my mom just to be on the phone with someone and I make a lap around the store just to make sure I don’t see him anymore (I don’t) and I’m telling my mom. She then asks me “well did you see the friend he said he dropped off?” So I started looking around and sure enough this man was following me down every isle on the opposite end and would just stand with his hands in his pockets and give a creepy smirk. So I walked to the front of the store and called my husband to come meet me because I was nervous and didn’t want to leave the store not knowing if the first man that approached me was gone or not. This other man continued to follow me around the store keeping his distance, never looked at the shelves or got anything. Was just always standing staring at me when I would look up. This went on for a total of 20 mins. My husband walks into the store comes and stands beside me and I kid you not the guy that had been watching and following me immediately takes off jogging out of the store after making eye contact with me and my husband. We paid for our stuff and walked out and both men were standing outside in the back of the parking lot looking at the store and talking. When they saw us the second guy took off on his bike and stared my husbands truck down, the first man got in his car. I spoke to the employees just to make them aware. I know it wasn’t a huge deal but it was off and they were definitely planning something. My husband looked over my car to make sure they didn’t mark it in anyway. I just hope they don’t prey on other ladies. If I wouldn’t have had anyone to call it’s hard to say what would have happened. Please just stay alert and aware of your surroundings ladies ❤️
