I’m currently a little over 6 weeks pregnant and I haven’t had sex with my husband since we found out about a week and a half ago. Before we found out, we were having sex 2-3x a week.

My progesterone level a week ago was 0.5 too low according to my blood work. The Dr put me on vaginal progesterone suppositories 200mg once a day.

Hubs and I would like to have sex but we are nervous. I have been cramping off and on mildly and I was in the ER last week because I thought I may have had an ectopic pregnancy. Turns out it was a small ovarian cyst. The doctors never told me to refrain from sex or refrain from doing anything, only gave me the meds and a prenatal vitamin.

Could we have sex and be safe or should we wait?
