Anyone taking iron pills got heartburn ?

I was prescribed poly iron 150 forte and gave me diarrhea and heartburn. I stopped taking it 3 days ago but still have heartburn. Anyone went through this? Did the heartburn go away?

It might not be the iron. Iron usually causes constipation instead of diarrhea. Also, it shouldn’t still be causing heartburn 3 days later as it’s long gone from your stomach/esophagus unless it caused more permanent damage.
