MALE OBGYN experience

Hey ladies, I would like to hear what y’all’s experience has been if you have a male OBGYN. In the past I always had female doctors to put in, or take out my IUD, and this is my first child. I picked a male provider, but now I’m not so sure I should’ve. He has yet to see my nether region. My first apportionment was at 10 weeks and we did a vaginal ultrasound but it was a registered nurse that did it, then at my 36 week appointment when the bacterial swap needed to be done, his female student that was shadowing was the one that did it and he was not in the room. I’m to be induced in a week and I have one more appointment before the induction, and I would like to be checked for dilation then, but I don’t even feel comfortable asking him about it because it feels like he has been avoiding looking there. I have a pretty good amount of anxiety for the birth. What do y’all think?
