Hey ladies. So I just recently got diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I haven’t been having the best time. I’ve already cut out my cokes and sugary things. I switched to whole grain bread and started eating mainly vegetables and fruits. My body is definitely craving sugary things. I’ve been getting headaches and feel really tired. I’ve read that that I can have keto, think, kind and quest bars but I haven’t tried them yet and I switched whatever I could to sugar free. Eating more lean meat cooked in olive oil instead of butter. Non breaded things. Non starchy veggies. I’m really really trying but this isnt easy. For my ladies out there that have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes or did have it in the past, what did you do to help you? And did it go away for you after delivery?
