When is a breech baby diagnosed?

I have an ultrasound this week and I'll be 31w3d at the appointment. I have no idea what position she's in but I was curious on when breech moms found out that their baby was officially breech. I know that up until a certain point that they're still small enough to be in all sorts of positions. Thanks mamas!

Babies can flip literally until you're in full blown labor. They usually start worrying about it like 34 weeks because that's when they start running out of room so it's harder for them to flip, but you can still get an ECV or try spinning babies techniques. Of course, this also means that they can go from head down to breech at any time before delivery, too. It just gets less likely because of the lack of space.

my las baby , arround 35 weeks  she never down her position i go with lady to make her to position arround 6 times one day before she is on position because the lady did but the next day in the hospital she is breech again , the dr turn her and thanks god she birth normal but i stay pushing more the one hour i feel i die i finish very tired and dont want hold her

My daughter was head first when I was about 5cm dilated but getting closer to 10cm she turned breach. It took what felt like a lifetime to get her turned back around. But somehow they did & she came out perfectly.

My son was breech literally up until 2 weeks ago when I had the dr check. I felt hiccups down at the bottom of my stomach & kinda figured he had finally flipped. She confirmed he was head down & has been that way ever since! I'm 34wks 4days!
