I’ve always cleaned my babies tongue. Oral hygiene is important for all ages, Germs and bacteria can build up in their mouths just like ours. You can just take a warm damp cloth/clean wash rag and rub their tongue, cheeks, & gums gently clean or they make little mouth cleaners specifically for that reason that fit on your finger. (You should be able to
Find them at stores like Walmart or I know Amazon has them also.)Just make sure to wash your hands before!

With a damp rag you gently wipe the tounge when you notice it's getting white. If you can't wipe it off it's thrush.
