Am I able to close a court case that was set up for child support ? I’m not looking forward to putting him on child support. I’ve been calling numbers for assistance but no answer. My mom mentioned that sheriffs knocked on her door and gave her a letter with my name. The letter had the court date and location in which I called and they informed me that they don’t see a case in my name nor dads name about a court date, so I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to be a no show then something worse after happens. I just don’t have access to anyone to receive more details.

Also, what happens if I don’t show up to the court date ?
