Who will be in the room with you when delivering?

Not for nothing but I would seriously kill to have my mother present or anyone who cares for me. If you have family and complain about them texting, calling, and worrying about YOU, the baby, and your significant other, then that's really sad. Please remember not everyone is blessed to have such loving, caring people in their lives. THEIR WHOLE LIVES.  People leave us early all the time and every time I hear someone complain about family visiting or being excited or just plain caring, I get very sad because I would give so much for that kind of concern. Not only that, but to have that kind of family involvement for my baby would be so precious. So many of us never had grandparents. Or aunts or uncles or cousins. They are all blessings, even the annoying ones. Just something to think about.

Only husband. I've contemplated not even letting parents and in-laws know when I go into labor. I don't want them constantly calling and texting to see how I'm progressing. I also don't want them waiting outside to bombard me as soon as my little girl arrives. I'm an incredibly private person and the thought of having family in there every time they come in to check me out stresses me out. I also want time to bond with my baby before everybody comes in and starts taking her out of my arms. My husband is being completely supportive over me wanting to keep this private. We'll call and let everybody know when she's here and tell them when to come visit.

When the actuall labor starts, I only want my husband there. I know my mom and MIL want to be there but I told them no. For me this is a private special thing for just me and my husband

I originally planned on it being just my husband and I. Then my MIL started talking about being there - as much as I want to say no, the look on her face makes me bite my tongue. She is thrilled to be a grandma and I would feel horrible not letting her be a part of the birth. My mother is a little more understanding of privacy, but hell, if his mom is gonna be there, might as well have my mom too!

My husband and kids they are really excited about being apart of the birth and of course curious to see where babies come from.

I can only have one person with me and I want my husband. If something happens and for whatever reason he cannot be there, I have asked my MIL if she will be there with me. She said she would.

He's not my husband. We're not even together lol but her dad, my mom and best friend will be there for labor but when it's time to push my best friend will go in the waiting room.
