Menstrual cup to aid conception?

DH and I have been TTC for over a year, saw a specialist, diagnosed with MFI. We've done all the tests and our next step is IUI. We have tried pretty much everything but this so we are trying a menstrual cup this ovulation cycle for our first time! Has anyone else tried this "assisting" method to conceive? Our hopes are that it will act like a 'plug' to keep everything in for a couple hours. Any success stories??

I use soft cups & leave them in for 12 hours. Got bfp ended in mc the first time, then got 2nd bfp & had a healthy little girl. Now I'm ttc again & using them. I put a little preseed in the cup before I put it in. Good luck it's worth a try, it can't hurt!

I used a Diva Cup after BDing the month we conceived our son. I don't know if that actually helped though!

What type of MFI does your hubby have? Motility or sperm count issues, etc...

I tried using a soft cup this month! We Bd every other day during fertile days. Af is due on Saturday. I had some severe cramping a week after Ovulation. I’m crossing my fingers it was a good thing but who the heck knows. It’s month 8 trying so we’ll see what happens! But I’d be surprised if it came out positive. I’ve never had a positive one.
