My daughter has been in daycare since she was 12 months. Prior to being 12 months she was home with me all day. The first few weeks of daycare was horrible! She would cry at drop off and cry when she saw me at pickup. She would also run up to me and reach for me. She stopped all this around 13 months. ☹️😞. she stopped coming to me. She does not run to me at all and it’s sort of embarrassing when I have to go to her and it feels as though they think I have no dealings with her. Is this normal??? The other babies run up to me and I’m not even their parent. I’ve seen other parents pick their toddler up from the class and they are greeted with warm smiles.
