Family vacations

My bf and I have gone on vacations with both my family and his family. We have one coming up soon with his family.

My family likes to stay in separate hotel rooms or sometimes different places and then we get together to go to attractions, or sight seeing, or out to dinner. But I like that my bf and I stay in our hotel room and have some privacy and we can do our own thing sometimes.

His family is the opposite of them. His parents buy a huge condo and wants everyone to stay in one place. Which is nice but I feel like I don’t have much privacy. The first time we went with them, there wasn’t enough bedrooms so we had to sleep in the same room with his family members. If I would have known that before going, I probably wouldn’t have gone.

He said his parents would be offended if we told them we wanted to stay in our own hotel room. But even he has said that he doesn’t like staying in a condo with them for a whole week.
