How do I get him back

I made a huge mistake breaking up with my ex. We’d been together for 3 years, mutually inlove with one another, I was just going through my own struggles and didn’t know how to deal with them so I broke up with him 3 weeks ago. I love him so much and need to make things right, he is very mad at me at the moment but still loves me very much. What do I do?
