Stay at home mom?

Question

Is anyone in here a SAHM? Do you love it? Any regrets? How did you transition out of working? I can’t decide if cold turkey or phasing myself out by dropping to part time and then reducing hours is a better option. 
I feel like I’m about to jump off a cliff into a lot of unknowns

I became a sahm when I was about 4months pregnant with my first. I was an overnight cashier at Walmart. I initially took a month long leave of absence when morning sickness was at its worse. Then returned to work and it was still too rough to stand for the long hours without feeling like I would vomit or pass out.. so I started calling in sick most nights and was attempting to call and quit but day shift would always put me on hold or even hang up on me instead of transferring me to HR. So they ended up firing me as a no show. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
I’ve never looked back, I truly enjoy being a sahm. It is rough at times, I got postpartum depression and went to therapy once a week until I got pregnant with my second. But I love being home with my kids, who are now 7 and 3 and I’m currently pregnant with #3. I’m a very attached parent and don’t really trust anyone else to care for them besides my husband. We also homeschool and are building a small farm. To me it’s so incredibly rewarding to always be available for me kids at any time of day and I wouldn’t trade this life for any other. and I will probably not return to any kind of work until perhaps my kids are teens.. we shall see.

I am. I have no regrets because I have been able to spend all my time with my kids. Being able to not miss anything of their lives has been a blessing. I just straight up stopped working and became one. It does get overwhelming and takes a toll on your mental health. But I think it’s worth it.

I've been a SAHM for 3 years and a SAHW for 4.5 years. I absolutely love it. I was raised with the idea of being a self sufficient woman, who makes her own money, and doesn't need a man. That's what was pushed onto me. My husband and I started dating at 15 and moved in together at 21. We married shortly after and did a round of fertility the next month. 
I was still in college when we moved in together and due to a life and death pregnancy I had to cut my classes from 16 classes a semester to just full time at 6 classes. Due to the delay I graduated on my oldest's 1st birthday while heavily pregnant. When I graduated I told my husband I didn't want to work and wanted to be a SAHM and homeschool. He was happy and was all for it. I never thought I'd be a SAHM because I was raised to believe they held no value. It took a lot for me to overcome that belief.  
I'm a traditional wife and mother and I love it. I grew up in a non-traditional family and being a SAHM feels right to me. No regrets. I have my degree if something ever happens to my husband and I need to go to work. Being a SAHM is very fulfilling for me and I wouldn't want it any other way.
