Anyone understand this? IUD advice needed!

Hello ladies!

It has been a hot minute since I was last posting but I’m kicking it off with something new; and quite upsetting for me.

I have been a regular masturbator since a young age; progressively trying new things into my adulthood life.

I have been using the hormonal IUD (called Mirena IUS in UK) since I was 17. My first 2 had never caused me issues. However, I got my last one on 2nd October this year; I’ve been unable to feel aroused since!

My ability to feel anything clitoris, vaginal or otherwise. The most I get is a tingle and that’s if I’m trying really hard. I’m really unsure what’s going on and I don’t want this to impact my relationship because I’ve not had any desire either!

This is so frustrating for me, I’ve never experienced this before. I just wanted to know if anyone has felt the same before? I’ve tried looking online but haven’t found anything except that a rare complication from removal can be “peripheral neuropathy” (nerve damage) - but I don’t see if that would include my clitoris?

Any help is appreciated 😞
