I need ideas/advice.
My son is 16 months old. Currently our sleeping situation is as follows: I go lay down with my son in my bed. He falls asleep, then eventually I move him to his crib. Typically he stays asleep but not always. Now that he’s 35 lbs, walking, ya know doing everything honestly I was thinking about changing up his sleeping situation so I’m not so directly impacted by him going to bed. I don’t have a partner I don’t have someone to help me around the house so that’s done when he’s sleeping.
Now here’s what I’m thinking.
We have a play yard. He has his toys and everything in it. Now he’s to the age he doesn’t want to be confined and wants to do what he can. He has energy to burn. So I was talking to his dad about my struggle with his sleep schedule so my THOUGHTS was to check the measurements of the play yard and see if this full sized mattress would fit. It fits but the mattress is a bit small. There would be extra room and his dad mentioned we would have to stuff pillows in the “cracks” and idk how to feel about that. He started getting mad with me so I’m here wondering what can I do to the point my son needing to go to bed but less contact with me. How do I do this? Please I need advice.
