Need a quick thought ??

So my bf and I usually let each other know when we get out of work or in. I got out at 7pm and he’s at work but I have his location and I see that he’s out of his work place just delivering and he usually good to reply to text right away or tell me safe drive home. So I decided to call him instead, just a quick hi and that’s it, since he’s out. But he declined my call and he just went back to his main work area and I’m like okay it’s fine. So I joking like tell him via text, like we always do when either one of us doesn’t answer a call, wow wow like that okay bye, but in that joking sarcastic tone. So I finished parking and he calls me, says in a odd tone voice ummm hello? Like he’s weird out or off because I called. I’m like hey baby I’m sorry it’s nothing just wanted to say hi is all. And he’s like umm okay (chuckles) and say well hi, (cheerful tone) I’ll call you when I’m out, I get out soon. I’m like yeah okay no worries. He’s says are you okay? What’s going on? Me (normal tone) ohh no nothing really. I just wanted to say hi. He’s like …. Okayyyyyyy. And we say bye. And right after sent a text with the same “okayyy….”. Just now he said your really going to fuck up my day like is…. I’m explained that I was just saying hi and he called while I was parking and maybe that’s why I sounded off because I was focusing on parallel parking. And he said no you were home already. I’m like I had just called my dad to see if he wanted to park the car inside outside and that’s when you called that I had just started parking but I didn’t mean any harm or make you feel weird. We always joke around I didn’t understand why it’s bother you like this, now? I’m confused. He said well I called you and you were serious and not trying to talk to me and I text you after and you didn’t respond. Why call me to just leave things like that afterwards. I just kept apologizing but I’m being ignored now. So my question is am I wrong in something? Maybe I don’t see that? Communication is off? Maybe my tone was off? But I was thinking he’s busy better to let him go because he’s back at work we can talk after since he’s gonna call me anyways. Or is he exaggerating? Maybe he’s having a bad day? Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I feel like why should he get so worked up about it to say that? That I’m just ruining he’s day. Idk ….
