C section in UK question

Lauren

I've had 2 previous c sections and booked in for a third but I'm just wondering if anyone had any experience or idea of whether or not they'd want to put me to sleep this time as with my last I had the spinal which caused me all sorts of back issues I was in agony for nearly 2 years I had to quit work etc my legs would go numb and I struggled to walk. The pain started to ease a bit until I got pregnant and now I'm in agony all over again. The doctor refused to help and told me to just go sit up a&e as it is probably related to my spinal but I was not doing that . I had an MRI ordered by a different doctor but they just said bones look fine and did nothing more so there's not really much record of the issues on my medical records. I don't have my pre op for another 8 weeks and would like to be prepared for being awake or asleep asap
