Mucus plug and crampy

Ever since I lost the glob of my mucus plug my hips having been so painful along with cramps in general.

I’m so crampy like I am getting my period. I went into my Ob for a check today and everything is fine but I also had a student intern who did it and who I expressed my concerns to.. she didn’t really seem to take my concerns to serious at all. She was more focused on telling me I’m not in active labor which I never thought I was, I was just concerned about the cramping I’m having all day long.. anyone else experience similar?
