Wearing engagement ring wrong of me??

Is it wrong of me to wear my engagement ring on my right hand when dating? Fiancée passed early this year and I never got a chance to wear the ring long enough (3 months), and it’s so pretty to stay in its box. I usually wear it around the house but thought of wearing it in public. Been seeing a guy who knows of my situation, but am wondering if I suddenly started wearing it if he would be mad? I don’t mean any harm by it, I just happen to appreciate the ring and like to accessorize. What do you think??
