Possible cold?

Hey mamas!

I’m currently about 2 weeks postpartum (as of tomorrow)… I woke up today feeling a bit under the weather. Just annoying “cough”/clearing of my throat. I have asthma and seasonal allergies so I’m not sure if that’s just flaring up as the weather changes…

But my question is if I do have a common cold, would antibodies be transferred to my baby to protect him from catching the cold? I have been exclusively pumping (breastfeeding).

I feel so worried bc he’s literally just about to be 2 weeks old and Ik his immune system isn’t as strong…

I started wearing a mask today when holding him just as a precaution.
