Membrane Sweep, tricks?

I am getting a membrane sweep today, this is my first baby, i am exactly 39 weeks and im only 1 cm dilated, my ob said i would go into labor within 6-12 hours, im so nervous what if it doesnt work😢 I made myself an okra and pinapple juice for me to drink all day today, I will be also walking alot, what else can I do to induce labor for today asap?

It took over 72 hours to work with my second. My first I think it was within a couple of days. However with both of my kids, my water broke but labor did not progress and I needed pitocin. Idk if that’s because of the membrane sweeps or not though

It might work or might not. With my 1st it didn’t work. With my 2nd I went into labor that night
