Would we assume strep?

Went to doctors care yesterday because I swore it was the flu. I’ve had horrible body aches and my throat hurt so bad but looked absolutely fine yesterday. The flu test was negative but they were out of strep test and prescribed me tamiflu. I woke up this morning with my throat looking like this. Contacted a friend and got a prescription of Amoxicillin 875

Any home remedies? I don’t remember it being this bad as a kid. My whole body aches and I can hardly swallow
