Advice on first time TTC!

Hi ladies, so it’s me and my husbands first time TTC, and I’ve been using Premom to test my LH, etc.

So yesterday was my predicted ovulation day, we’ve been doing the baby dance on all my fertile days. Yesterday morning my LH test was normal and then I tested LH again in the afternoon (1:30p) and it finally tested high, so we did the baby dance. I couldn’t sleep last night so I ended up taking another LH test (10:30p) and it was even higher so I knew that would end up being my peak. We didn’t get to do the baby dance because my husband was already asleep. So basically we did it when my LH test was high but didn’t get to do it when my LH test was peak. With it being our first time TTC, I wanted to know does this mean we missed the chance to conceive?

How long before/after LH peak does high fertility last?
