I understand if people choose not to deal with someone who has this virus but I expect a little more courtesy as I’ve always been respectful of people’s choices. Especially when I didn’t get to choose. After I sent the message, our text thread disappeared. They unmatched me, maybe even blocked me. On one hand I’m “relieved” because that just means they weren’t for me, on the other hand a polite message declining to move forward would have sufficed.
